The Michigan Conservative Union has launched an initiative to develop a program for young Michiganders interested in becoming active in the conservative movement. The Michigan Conservative Youth Program was founded to educate high school and college students (and young people in general) on the foundations of the conservative movement and to encourage civic and political participation.
The Youth Program has the following goals:
- Educate young conservatives on the historical and philosophical aspects of the conservative movement
- Encourage students at high schools and colleges to charter “Campus Conservatives” student clubs to organize conservative students on campus
- Host semi-annual seminars for young conservatives interested in learning more about conservative causes and getting the necessary training for activism
- Connect young conservative leaders to the broader conservative movement in Michigan and nationwide
